The developers at ArenaNet have announced the November update of Guild Wars 2 to introduce the new Itemstufe Ascended objects. It was recently announced that the developers of Guild Wars 2 with the upcoming November update also want to introduce a new rarity of items. In a blog post on the official website is Game Designer Linsey Murdock new information on the Ascended equipment known and explains the design philosophy for objects. So the makers of ArenaNet will indeed create a progression, but without falling into the typical item Grind other MMOGs.

The developers want to make the introduction of new and challenging gameplay mechanics that buy guild wars 2 gold players can mitigate these mechanics with new items and in this way a personal progress for each player is provided.
