Guild Wars 2: Improvements Fractals


Isaiah Cartwright (Izzy for short), explains in his latest statement that some changes will be made to Fractals by the end of January in order to remedy the problems found during disconnections in the dungeon.

But this is not the only novelty indeed functioning levels and prizes will also be reviewed and corrected.

All this is explained below by Izzy.

Hello everyone! My name is Isaiah Cartwright and I am lead designer on Guild Wars 2. I'd like to talk today about changes we make to fractals, especially reconnection and group levels.

At present, it is not possible to join his band when we were disconnected inside the dungeon, which causes many problems for both the offline gw2 gold player for his companions. Our new system allows all players to instantly find their group in the dungeon. We understand the frustration that this problem may cause and we would like to apologize for the delay in resolving it.

We also changed the operating level restrictions within groups. Currently, players are limited by the level of fractal lowest group, which serves those whose level is low fractal. We changed the restrictions group levels to solve this problem. At the time of the creation of the group, players can select any level fractal, within the limit of the highest level reached by a group member. Once the fractal is complete, all players at or below the selected level get a level of additional fractal.

All higher level players earn karma, but retains the same level of fractal. The awards in fractal depend on the level of reward for each Guild Wars 2 gold player, to the extent that its level is not higher than the fractal chosen. Example:

Player 1 (fractal level 2)
Player 2 (level of fractal 21)
Player 3 (level of fractal 21)
Player 4 (fractal level 21)
Player 5 (fractal level 53)
Player 2 creates the group and defines a fractal level 21. The group then comes to after 3 fractals. They get fractal levels following:
Player 1 (fractal level 3)
Player 2 (level of fractal 22)
Player 3 (level of fractal 22)
Player 4 (fractal level 22)
Player 5 (always fractal level 53, but gaining karma for assistance)
The goal is to allow everyone to play together and soften the training system groups. We plan to implement these two features at the end of January.
